WHY I BUILT IT
I wanted the compliance system I kept wishing I had.
Transport compliance is rarely one single document. It is the PMI due next week, the MOT three months away, the driver licence check that has slipped, the medical declaration, the eyesight check, the missing handbook signature, a defect still waiting for rectification and the evidence that proves somebody followed it up.
I spent years controlling those things through spreadsheets, folders, emails, paper forms and separate systems. They can work, but they make it too easy for information to become scattered and for an overdue action to hide in plain sight.
MV Fleet Compliance was built from the transport operation outwards. The starting question was not “what can software do?” It was “what does an operator or Transport Manager need to see every morning to know the licence is under control?”

Does the system replace the Transport Manager?
No. Software does not replace the operator or Transport Manager responsibilities. It is designed to make due dates, missing evidence, defects and follow-up actions easier to see, record and evidence.
Does it include driver walkaround checks?
Yes. The driver walkaround check is part of MV Fleet Compliance rather than a separate product. Drivers can complete checks online from a phone, report defects and add supporting evidence so the transport office can follow the record through to rectification.
Can it track PMI, MOT and driver compliance dates?
Yes. The platform is designed to track vehicle and trailer inspection dates alongside driver licence checks, CPC, tachograph cards, health declarations, eyesight checks, handbook acknowledgement and other operator-controlled dates.
Is MV Fleet Compliance suitable for small operators?

Does using the platform make an operator FORS accredited?
No. The platform is designed around a FORS Bronze-ready evidence baseline, but accreditation depends on the operator meeting the current FORS Standard and passing the relevant audit.
