What is included in a retainer?
The scope is agreed around the operation. It may include scheduled reviews, access for questions, document support, investigations and action tracking. It does not provide unlimited work unless explicitly stated.
Is the compliance platform included?
The planned MV Fleet Compliance Platform is intended to be included for active consultancy-retainer clients once launched, subject to the final service terms.
Can a retainer replace an External Transport Manager?
No. Where a standard licence requires a nominated Transport Manager, a consultancy retainer does not replace that statutory role unless an appropriate ETM appointment is separately agreed.
Can we start with an audit first?
Yes. An independent audit is often the best way to define the retainer priorities and avoid paying for vague support.
Do you work only in Manchester?
MV is based near Manchester and supports operators across Greater Manchester and the wider North West. ETM appointments depend on travel time, availability and the requirements of the specific licence; audits and project work can be delivered across a wider area.

Retained consultancy can be delivered across the UK using a blend of Teams meetings, document review, dashboard monitoring and planned site visits. North West clients are prioritised for regular face-to-face support. National visits are available with travel and accommodation charged separately and agreed in advance.
